About Premium prize bond
The Government Pakistan has introduced first ever Premium Prize Bond of Rs 40,000 Denomination with prize of Rs 80 Crores. The profit will be given biannually e.g. after every six months. The Premium Prize Bond is meant for individuals, public and private institutions however banks cannot purchase these bonds. During Premium Prize Bond inauguration ceremony Finance Minister stated that it can create a positive impact for national economy and will give investors a chance to improvise their financial position.
In case of purchase the buyer of Premium Prize Bond will be get a printed receipt. He told that Prize Bonds have already leveraged economies of developed countries and this step is of paramount significance. The Premium Prize Bond can be acquired through State Bank branch offices in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta.
